挙母神社の御祭神は、造化三神の人柱である高皇産靈神、天照大神の孫神にして天孫降臨した邇々藝尊、タカミムスビの御子神にしてニニギの母神である栲幡千幡比売命、水の分配を司る天之水分神の国之水分神。 末社には、建速須佐之男命の櫛稲田比売命を祀る津島社、豊受比売命を祀る御鍬社、大物主命・金山毘古命・金山比売命を祀る金刀比羅社、菅原道真命を祀る子守天満宮、火を司る火産靈命を祀る秋葉社がある。 The deities enshrined at Koromo Shrine include Takamimusubi-no-Kami (one of the three deities of creation); Ninigi-no-Mikoto (grandson of Amaterasu Omikami and the deity who descended from the heavens to rule the earth); Takuhatachijihime-no-Mikoto (child of Takamimusubi and mother of Ninigi); and the deities Ame-no-Mikumari-no-Kami and Kuni-no-Mikumari-no-Kami (who preside over the distribution of water). The auxiliary shrines include Tsushima-sha (enshrining Takehaya-Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Kushinadahime-no-Mikoto); Mikuwa-sha (enshrining Toyoukehime-no-Mikoto); Kotohira-sha (enshrining Omononushi-no-Mikoto, Kanayamahiko-no-Mikoto, and Kanayamahime-no-Mikoto); Komori-Tenmangu (enshrining Sugawara-no-Michizane-no-Mikoto); and Akiba-sha (enshrining Homusubi-no-Mikoto, the deity of fire).
