🏠 THE FINAL WOLVERHAMPTON RENOVATION WALKTHROUGH IS HERE! After weeks of stripping out, uncovering hidden problems, putting things right and rebuilding this property, we're finally ready to show you the finished transformation. We completed this full house renovation for a property investor looking to upgrade the property, increase its value and release equity through refinancing to help fund future property investments. And what a difference! The property has undergone a huge programme of works, including: ✅ Full electrical rewire and new consumer unit ✅ Brand new central heating system and combi boiler ✅ New windows throughout ✅ New composite front door ✅ New French doors ✅ Extensive plastering and repairs ✅ Full redecoration ✅ New flooring throughout ✅ Brand new kitchen ✅ Complete bathroom renovation ✅ Downstairs WC refurbishment ✅ New skirting and architraves ✅ Additional sockets and electrical upgrades ✅ New internal doors and joinery ✅ External lighting and CCTV provisions One of our favourite changes has to be the living and dining area. Originally, the investor wanted the dividing doors reinstated. We suggested leaving the opening while the work was underway so they could see what the space felt like without them. Once they saw how much bigger, brighter and more open it made the downstairs feel, the decision was made to keep it open. We've now got one continuous floor running through the downstairs, with light coming through from both ends of the property and new French doors opening onto the garden. 👌 The new handleless green kitchen works brilliantly alongside the oak effect flooring and white worktops, with practical low maintenance splashbacks and the new boiler completely boxed into the kitchen units. Upstairs we've freshened up all of the bedrooms, added additional sockets, overboarded and skimmed the dated textured ceilings and completely rebuilt one of the old cupboard areas. And finally, the bathroom has been completely transformed with an L shaped bath, larger shower area, rainfall shower, new vanity and WC, slate effect LVT flooring and built in storage where the old tanks used to be. This project definitely threw a few surprises at us along the way, from walls falling back to brick to old electrics running through steel conduit and some unusual construction methods, but that's all part of renovation work.
