Lesson 25 | Learn Sitar From Scratch | Alankar Practice Part 9 | 2, 3, 4 & 5 Swar Grouping

Namaskar! 🙏 Welcome to **Learn Sitar From Scratch – Lesson 25**. In this lesson, we continue our Alankar practice and learn how to play *2, 3, 4 and 5 Swar groupings* to develop rhythmic awareness, pattern memory and better Mizrab control. In This Lesson 🎵 2-Swar Grouping 🎵 3-Swar Grouping 🎵 4-Swar Grouping 🎵 5-Swar Grouping 🎵 Combining 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 4 → 3 → 2 🎵 Slow → Medium → Faster → Medium → Slow speed control 🎵 Maintaining Swar clarity and Mizrab control The goal is not simply to increase speed. The goal is to remain *relaxed, accurate and rhythmically controlled* while changing the grouping. I am **Samarendra Mondal**, disciple of **Pandit Debaprasad Chakraborty of the Maihar Gharana**. If you are learning Sitar from scratch, follow the complete *Learn Sitar From Scratch* series and practise each lesson step by step. *Golden Rule:* “Change the grouping, not the quality of your playing.” 🎶 Practise slowly. 🎶 Stay relaxed. 🎶 Listen carefully. 🎶 Never sacrifice clarity for speed. --- 🎵 *LEARN SITAR FROM ME* Would you like to learn Sitar from me personally?
