Jed Clampett has millions of dollars in the bank, but he's never been the kind of man to sit around doing nothing! When Jed decides to put his handyman skills to good use by traveling around Beverly Hills in a fix-it wagon, Mr. Drysdale becomes desperate to find him a more respectable hobby. After all, having his wealthiest depositor going door-to-door looking for odd jobs isn't exactly the image a successful banker wants! Determined to keep Jed occupied, Drysdale introduces him to a variety of hobbies, including stamp collecting and building miniature boats inside bottles. But when Jethro gets involved, the results are anything but relaxing! Jed soon finds himself returning a prized model boat to John Cushing, an executive at the rival Merchants Bank. What starts as an innocent act of kindness quickly turns into a financial showdown when Cushing offers Jed a job at his bank. Drysdale is horrified at the thought of losing the Clampett fortune to a competitor, and the two bankers begin battling for Jed's attention. But Jed has no interest in becoming the prize in a fight between two wealthy businessmen!
