🛡️ Welcome to the first build in the National Park Visitor Center project! The National Park Visitor Center is about to become something very different. Rather than simply rebuilding the existing settlement, the plan is to transform the entire location into Far Harbor's Ranger HQ — a fortified security and training facility where the island's security forces can train, prepare and equip themselves before being deployed to protect the settlements across Far Harbor. The settlement naturally divides into two main areas, with the large car park at the front providing the perfect space to establish a fortified entrance and secure perimeter. The first build is the Ranger HQ Fortified Gate House. The gate house provides controlled access into the new facility, with a double roller-door entrance operated from a central control point above the gates. Both sides of the structure contain dedicated security areas, including an armoury, security office and upper guard positions overlooking the entrance. The Rangers also have covered rest areas built into the rear of the gate house, giving guards somewhere to take a break between shifts without leaving their post. But this is only the beginning. As the project develops, the National Park Visitor Center will be transformed into a fully functioning Ranger HQ, with the existing main building being restored and repurposed, followed by dedicated areas for security training, accommodation, equipment and the day-to-day operations of Far Harbor's security forces. The aim is to make the entire location feel like a genuine fortified facility that has grown out of the existing National Park buildings, rather than simply dropping a military base into the middle of Far Harbor. As always, this build uses no mods, only the base game and official Creation Club content included with the Anniversary Edition. This is just the beginning of the National Park Visitor Center transformation.
