Fully Set is an original Christian song inspired by Ecclesiastes 8:11, Isaiah 3:10–11, Psalm 73, and Psalm 55:23 and a real life event. Ecclesiastes 8:11: “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” When judgment is delayed, those who do wrong may become bolder, while those who long for justice can become discouraged. In Psalm 73, Asaph struggled to understand the prosperity of the wicked until he entered the sanctuary of God and considered their end. The circumstances had not necessarily changed, but his understanding had. This song acknowledges the suffering that continues when justice is delayed.
