Six glazes run down a three-tier cake, each dripping a little shorter than the last, until the cake is a rainbow. Nine more follow: a field claimed square by square, a jar of sand that sorts into stripes, an image formed upside down through a pinhole, sixteen colour gates at an airport, raindrops that fuse into one, jellies squeezed to the centre of a spiral, 144 tiles blended into a gradient, 640 passengers carried home and a mosaic untwisted into one colour wheel. No talking. Photosensitivity note: a frame-by-frame brightness check of the finished video found no flashes over large areas of the screen; the largest brightness changes are the curtain wipes between chapters, which go dark in one direction. In the busiest second, under 9% of the picture (small patches of falling coloured sand in chapter 3) brightens and dims more than three times a second. Expect moving rainbow colours, falling grains, spinning cakes and planes, and a slowly drifting colour wheel at the end. The promise is the same every time: each chapter starts empty or messy and stops when the picture is finished. The counter under the chapter title is the count from the simulation in that frame, and a chapter winds down a few seconds after its goal is reached. How it was made, honestly: the sand jar swaps every heavier grain with the lighter grain above it, cell by cell. The tile gradient is a real relaxation solve, where each tile takes the average of its neighbours until nothing changes. The colour wheel is a real run of the XY rule, where tiles turn toward their neighbours' hue and swirls of opposite spin cancel until one is left. The raindrop dish merges any two drops that touch, with a simple rolling model. The field-claiming game is played by a small AI that samples cuts and follows a pace curve, and the last open cells are filled in a ripple so it ends on time. Several chapters follow a fixed timetable fitted to finish on time: the airport, the train loop, the cake's six glaze pours and the order the pinhole rays arrive in (the drip lengths and sprinkle positions come from the seed). The jelly spiral is a soft-body simulation that ignores centrifugal force, and the pinhole is a flat 2.5-D diagram. The rules, the code and the sound are original. Chapters 0:00 Every glaze drips a little shorter — until the CAKE is a rainbow 0:42 Every cut walls off a spark-free zone — until the WHOLE FIELD is claimed 1:25 Every heavy grain sinks past a lighter one — until the jar is STRIPED 2:07 Every ray squeezes through one tiny hole — until the IMAGE appears upside down 2:50 Every plane finds its colour gate — until the AIRPORT is FULL 3:33 Every drop that touches another fuses — until ONE giant drop is left 4:17 Every turn squeezes the jellies inward — until ALL reach the centre 5:00 Every tile takes its neighbours' average — until it's ONE smooth GRADIENT 5:43 Every train picks up a colour — until ALL are HOME 6:26 Every tile turns toward its neighbours' colour — until ONE colour wheel is left Which of these would you put on while falling asleep?
