Frejas Store Kraft (Freya's Great Power) is a modern song by the band Virelai, not an authentic viking age song - I have described it in the title as such since that accurately conveys the soul of the song.
The song mentions three Norse-Pagan gods, Freyja (Goddess associated with nature and love), Odin (God associated with war and cunning) and Thor (God associated with power and thunder)
The name "VingThor" is one of Thor's many nicknames, a very common trope in authentic Norse mythology.
The song also mentions Sleipnir and Gungnir, the first being the Eight-legged horse of Odin, and the second being Odin's mighty spear. Huginn is one of Odin's ravens.
The 2nd map shows a rough map of all major conquests or settlements by Vikings, who were Norse. The map is not meant to be perfectly accurate, nor is it accurate to any specific year, nor is it a map depicting a singular entity.
Various areas shown such as Brittany or chunks of the Netherlands were never settled in any significant way, but were under Norse rule for some amount of time. Other areas, such as parts of Britain, and modern day Ukraine/Russia/Belarus, were settled in varying amounts.
This map was more for my own fun in all honesty!
A last little disclaimer, some people get really weird around viking/pagan imagery and themes, this channel does not welcome extremism or using norse history for any political ideology. Comments that attempt such will be removed.
