Chosen Before The Dawn

“Chosen Before the Dawn” is a spiritual, cinematic song inspired by scriptures about foreordination, the elect of God, priesthood, discipleship, gathering, and preparing for the return of Jesus Christ. The song begins before mortal life, imagining spirits standing before the earth was formed and recognizing that their lives would have a purpose. From there, it moves forward through faith, priesthood, discipleship, resisting deception, answering God’s call, and participating in the gathering of His people. As the song progresses, so does its timeline—from before the world, through mortal life, and toward the anticipated return of Jesus Christ. The growing voices and choir represent that gathering: what begins with individual voices eventually becomes many voices joined together. At the center of it all is one message: We were chosen before the dawn.
