Our Oregon Trail journey continues from Fort Bridger as we push deeper into the West toward Soda Springs and Fort Hall. We're still doing remarkably well for a group more than halfway through the trail, but the challenges keep piling up: sandstorms, exhausted travelers, overheated oxen, dwindling water, wagon damage, and the never-ending struggle to balance speed against keeping everyone healthy. Historical knowledge continues to prove surprisingly useful even if luck may deserve some of the credit too. Along the way, we continue rounding up the missing dragoons, including one who ropes us into performing The Gladiator as Spartacus in the middle of a sandstorm. We eventually reach Soda Springs, where a discussion of trail shortcuts leads naturally to the Donner Party, before continuing to Fort Hall. We also make progress assembling Louis Southworth's traveling band, do some fishing, encounter a friendly dog, and somehow reach Fort Hall after 80 days with all four original travelers still alive. Key points: Leaving Fort Bridger and pushing toward Soda Springs and Fort Hall Hunting, fishing, trading, and managing our increasingly crowded wagon Dealing with sandstorms, heat, exhaustion, and an overheated ox Recruiting more of the missing U.S. dragoons Gideon's unexpected theatrical debut as Spartacus Reaching the famous natural springs at Soda Springs Talking about trail shortcuts and the disastrous example of the Donner Party Buffalo chips and other realities of life on the historic trail Continuing Louis Southworth's quest to assemble a traveling band Convincing a double-bass player that mountain-man life might not be for him Wagon damage, questionable water sources, and narrowly avoiding unnecessary risks Reaching Fort Hall after 80 days on the trail Preparing for the next major push toward Fort Boise Original History Content:    / @happyshistory   History Reactions:    / @happys_history_reactions   Gaming Channel:    / @happy_gaming_channel   #TheOregonTrail #OregonTrail #Gaming #LetsPlay #HistoricalGaming #HistoryGaming
