Last week, a video about my eight-week wellness journey unexpectedly reached over 10,000 views in just three days. For a small channel with fewer than 2,000 subscribers, that was quite a surprise. It also made me reflect on why I started creating videos in the first place. My love for storytelling began in elementary school, when a poem I wrote earned me my very first payment: NT$70. Years later, I launched this channel with a video about moving internationally with my two cats. Since then, I’ve shared travel experiences, teaching stories, career changes, and plenty of unexpected turns in life. But somewhere along the way, I struggled to find a creative rhythm that truly worked for me. In 2026, I finally began building a sustainable workflow and a clearer vision for Hu Cares. This channel isn’t just about travel tips or destinations. It’s about JOMO (Joy of Missing Out), mindful living, books, education, curiosity, and the freedom to explore different paths in life.
