Why do people queue every year for a phone that’s only slightly better than the last one? Because Apple doesn’t just sell a product. It sells an experience, and people become invested in it.
In this episode I look at what service businesses can learn from that. It doesn’t always have to be perfect work. It has to be great communication. I talk about how you react when things go wrong, why a premium experience doesn’t have to mean a premium price, and why your goal should be to break the standard in your industry. I share some real examples: turning SEO blogs into social posts for a client at no extra cost, treating small clients the same as big ones, and filming events for free that went on to win me paid work. Plus why, in the age of AI, results and a genuinely human experience matter more than ever.
Working with your business shouldn’t be a hassle. It should be an experience people are proud of and tell everyone about.
This channel is the real story of growing a business abroad. I moved my agency from the UK to Denver, and I’m sharing what we’re learning and what we’re still working out along the way.
