Petals, Spirals & Organic Flow | Zentangle-Inspired Art

Petals, spirals and organic patterns come together in this new black-and-white Zentangle-inspired composition. In this video, I share the full process behind this intuitive drawing. The design grew gradually from the central areas outward, combining flowing petal shapes, spirals, circular details, delicate dots, leaves and fine linework. I loved playing with the contrast between the larger flowing forms and the smaller, more detailed patterns. The different sections connect naturally, creating movement throughout the composition while keeping the black-and-white palette simple and expressive. The individual patterns are familiar elements, while the way I select, connect and arrange them into the final composition is my own personal design.
