Move better, improve your range of motion and build more control with this 30 minute full body calisthenics mobility workout. 🤸‍♀️ This session combines active mobility, flexibility and controlled movement to work your entire body — from your hips, hamstrings and adductors to your spine, shoulders, scapulae and wrists. Unlike a traditional stretching session, we’re not simply holding passive stretches. Throughout the workout, we’ll move in and out of different ranges, work on rotation and joint control and use strength within our mobility exercises. This makes it a great standalone mobility session, but also a perfect complement to your regular calisthenics and strength training. We’re using a 45 sec work | 15 sec rest timer with a no repeat format, giving you enough time to explore each movement without rushing through it. You’ll need only a mat — no equipment required. We’ll work through hip hinges, deep squats, single-leg RDLs and lunges before moving into deeper hip and hamstring mobility, 90/90 work, spinal and thoracic rotation and pancake exercises. We’ll also give the upper body some attention with scapular movement, shoulder mobility and wrist work toward the end of the session. Mobility looks different for everyone, so there’s no need to match my exact range of motion. Move only as far as you can comfortably control, avoid forcing any position and give your body time to adapt. With consistent practice, strength and range of motion can develop together. 🤍 WORKOUT OVERVIEW Duration: 30 Minutes Timer: 45 Sec Work | 15 Sec Rest Format: No Repeat Equipment: Mat Only Focus: Full Body Mobility, Flexibility, Range of Motion & Control WORKOUT BREAKDOWN 00:00 Intro 00:10 Hip Hinge to Deep Squat 1:05 Single-Leg RDL L/R 3:05 Hip Flexor Stretch + Spine Rotation L/R 5:05 Bridge Stretch 6:05 Adductor Stretch L/R 8:05 Cobra Rotation 9:05 Spinal Rotation 10:05 Elephant Walks 11:05 Alt Thoracic Rotation 12:05 Deep Squat to Hamstring Stretch 13:05 Rotational Low Lunge L/R 15:05 90/90 + Hip Extension 16:05 Lunge Twist to Pyramid L/R 18:05 Half-Kneeling Rotation L/R 20:05 Lateral Hip Thread the Needle L/R 22:05 Pancake Good Mornings 23:05 Pancake Side Stretch 24:05 Trunk Twists 25:05 Scapular Protraction & Retraction 26:05 Palm Reaches 27:05 Head to Eagle Arms 28:05 Cat-Cow 29:05 Wrist Extension 30:05 Finger Lifts Use this workout on its own when your body needs a mobility-focused day, as active recovery between harder training sessions, or regularly alongside your calisthenics workouts to keep working on the range of motion and control your skills require.
