Build full body strength and improve your body control with this 30 minute calisthenics workout using just your own bodyweight. 💪
This no repeat session combines upper and lower body strength, core work, compression, balance and controlled movement for a challenging workout that gets your whole body involved.
We’re working with a 45 sec work | 15 sec rest timer, with a different exercise in every interval. You’ll need only a mat — no weights or other equipment required.
There’s plenty of variety in this one. We’ll work on compression strength with pike lifts and L-sit movements, challenge the upper body with pike push-ups, tricep work and dynamic plank variations, and build lower body strength through split squats, shrimp squats, glute work and lunge combinations.
Your core plays a big role throughout the workout too. Side planks, tabletop and beast positions, reverse plank work and more traditional core exercises all challenge your stability and your ability to control your body through different positions.
Many of the exercises combine several movements rather than isolating one muscle group, adding an extra challenge for coordination, balance and overall body awareness — all important parts of calisthenics training.
Your warm-up and cool-down are linked in the video and in the description, so you can easily add them before and after the workout.
As always, work at your own level. Adjust your range of motion, choose an easier variation when needed and take extra rest whenever your form starts to suffer. Focus on moving with control rather than simply trying to keep up. 🤍
