Metrolink's ONLY F40 SAVED | The History of Metrolink 800

On October 24, 2026, Metrolink's oldest locomotive, EMD F40PH 800 was delivered along side ATSF 5704 to the Southern California Railway Museum. This F40 was one of four purchased by Metrolink for a failed experimental conversion program, was kept in service and after years of speculation, was finally preserved.
