His Business Only Made €4.5K in Its First Year. How does anyone push past that?

Your business doesn't look like it will work. Little traction. No revenue. Should you keep going? ‪@ReneBalke‬ joins Helene to talk about the highs and the lows of building, working with a co-founder, and pushing through even though success is distant. In this episode of The Rules We Break, we talk about what actually happens when you build a business without the instant results that social media often makes entrepreneurship look like. For almost 10 years, Rene has built a successful trading business and YouTube channel from the ground up! Rene shares what he learned from: • Building a trading business from scratch • Making only €4.5K in the first year • Deciding whether to keep going when the business isn't making much money • Working with a co-founder when both people need to contribute and get paid • Why YouTube became the core of his business rather than simply a marketing channel • How educational content can build trust with potential customers • Why people often expect maximum results with minimum effort • What 10 years of building a business has taught him about people, patience and long-term growth • The reality behind the glamorous image of trading and trading gurus We also talk about something that sits at the centre of almost every new business: trust. In an industry where some trading influencers use luxury cars, watches and the promise of getting rich quickly to establish credibility, Rene took a different approach. He built trust by creating transparent, educational content and showing people what he actually knows. And that raises a bigger question: what actually makes people trust a business when they don't know you yet? #buildingfromscratch #youtubebusinessgrowth #tradingbusiness #selfstarter #entrepreneurlessons Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/music/tracks/mood-...
