Humans are put to sufferings and difficulties because of the vagaries of the mind. In fact, one is born as a reflection of one’s own thoughts. One assumes the human form only to experience (the result of) one's thoughts. The Veda says “Manujam”. A human again gets a body only to fulfill the desires that he/she wished for. Therefore, one should ask for a noble desire among the desires that one wishes for. What is ideal for our life? What is it that would make society noble? What is the ideal for the world? We should inquire like that. And we should develop noble thoughts. All thoughts of the mind should not be taken to action. Human bodies are born to experience these Karmas (fruits of past actions). The body is the instrument for practicing Dharma. Humans have received this body in order to follow Dharma and to experience their Karma. No, not for this sake. The body is actually given to render service to others. With this body one should not only discharge one’s duties but also render service to others. In this world, there are many things that we can do with this body by providing conveniences, comforts, and help to many. Here we find three classes of devotees. The first class of devotees does not know his/her latent power, and he/she does in his/her own way. Another devotee is one who does not expect anything else except one. Another class of devotees is those who pray to God, who is an embodiment of Truth; they make all conveniences and get their desires fulfilled through that. God is one. But one has got every right to experience God in different ways. Charity is the ornament of the hand. When your heart joins your hand, it gets transformed into charity. The ornament of the neck is Truth. To the ear, listening to sacred texts is the jewel. Why do we need the rest of the jewels in this world? The true decoration for your hand is charity. The ornament to the neck is Truth. The ornament to the ear is not the diamond ring but listening to the sacred texts. When you have these valuable jewels with you, what else is there to be asked? Everything humans desire is latent within themselves.
