Recording YouTube Videos - Does My Background Matter?

Location, location, location! No, I’m not talking about real estate. I’m talking about finding the right place to record YouTube videos! With colder weather approaching, I’m looking at doing more recording indoors, so I’ve been experimenting with different spots around the house. In this video, I take you through nine possible recording locations (two outdoors and seven indoors) and ask for your opinion. But there’s a little more to this than finding the perfect background. I’ve talked before about doing an occasional friction audit in our lives — taking a step back to recognize where we might be creating unnecessary stress for ourselves. Well, it turns out I’ve been doing a pretty good job of that with my recording setup! I’m interested in your feedback, and I’m also reminding myself not to overthink it.
