I was supposed to reach Amboli around 3:30 PM, but after multiple traffic patches, toll delays and stops, I finally reached Amboli at 8:30 PM in dense fog. This episode continues from Khambatki Ghat and takes you through Satara, Karad, Kolhapur, Nipani and Ajara before the final climb towards Amboli Ghat. 🚗 Khambatki Ghat to Amboli Ghat After ending Episode 1 at Khambatki Ghat, I continued the solo drive towards Amboli. The route had everything from good open roads and traffic patches to toll plazas, a lunch stop in Kolhapur, refuelling, the beautiful sunset near Nipani and finally dense fog while driving through Amboli Ghat at night. There was also one unexpected moment when a Hyundai Aura got stuck on the road due to low ground clearance. Nipani Sunset After hours of driving, the sunset near Nipani gave me a much-needed scenic break from the highway. 2. Hyundai Aura Stuck on the Road An unexpected road situation where a Hyundai Aura got stuck, apparently because of its low ground clearance. And then came the final part of the journey — Amboli Ghat at night, with dense fog and forest around the road.
