As an aging athlete who’s chasing after the fitness of his slightly younger self, I get a lot of ads for supplements. And in this video, I want to go over the supplements that I actually take, the science behind the ingredients, and how they make me feel. And I’ll do it in the context of a week’s worth of sessions. This is Week 2 of Berlin Marathon Training.
0:00 intro
1:15 nitrates
6:00 caveats and disclosures
6:56 protein
10:11 creatine
13:41 collagen
15:01 peptistrong
19:31 L glutamine
19:58 taurine
caveats and disclosures: I am not a medical professional, registered dietician or coach. And this video is sponsored by The Feed. The products that I discuss are products that I buy from The Feed.
And, everything that I am going to talk about today is safe for athletes to take both in and out of competition. I do not take synthetic peptides or condone the taking of any substance that is not intended for human consumption, that requires a prescription for direct or off label use, or otherwise requires you to inject yourself outside of the supervision of a prescribing medical professional.
