Ace Frehley Refused Johnny Carson's Guitar on Live TV, Then Opened a Black Case Nobody Expected

February 1979, Burbank. Johnny Carson holds out a borrowed guitar to Ace Frehley, the Spaceman of KISS, and asks the question rock fans had whispered for years: did he really play those legendary solos on the live album, or was it all studio magic? With no band, no tape and no second take, Ace had four minutes on The Tonight Show to answer in front of the whole country. This cinematic story brings back the hot lights of Studio One, the scratched Gibson Les Paul, "New York Groove," and a fan's letter that changed everything. If you grew up on vinyl, arena lights and KISS posters, this one is for you.
