Key Themes and Meanings:
The core theme of the bhajan "Mujhe Meri Masti Kaha Leke Aayi" (मुझे मेरी मस्ती कहाँ ले के आई) is self-realization (Atma-jnana), inner bliss, and the transcendence of duality (dvaita).
Main Themes and Meaning
Spiritual Bliss ("Masti"): In this context, masti does not mean worldly fun or intoxication. It refers to a state of deep, meditative joy and divine intoxication that comes from experiencing one's true inner self rather than outer material objects.
Oneness and Absence of Duality: The bhajan explores the realization that the individual soul and the supreme reality are one. It dissolves the illusion of "I" and "you" or observer and observed.
Illusion vs. Reality: It contrasts the waves, ripples, or bubbles of the temporary phenomenal world (like the ocean and its waves) with the permanent, underlying reality of the pure self (water).
Inner Awakening: The singer or seeker looks back in wonder at how their inner spiritual journey ("masti") has led them to a state of pure consciousness where nothing else remains separate from the self.
About the Seekers Sangat festival:
As we stepped into 2026, we curated an intimate celebration of music, mindfulness, and meaningful connection - Seekers Sangat: A Mindfulness Festival. The festival (retreat) was held from 2nd to 4th January 2026 at the serene Bulbul Farm Retreat, Palpa, Nepal.
This gathering brought together seekers, artists, and facilitators for an immersive experience in nature, silence, and soulful music. Through workshops on yoga, meditation, breathwork, art therapy, and heartfelt conversations, participants celebrated the new year consciously - away from noise and towards inner harmony.
We were deeply honoured to have Mir Razak Ali (folk & sufi singer from Pugal, Bikaner, Rajasthan) as one of our featured musical artists, sharing his music and presence with our loving community. His art beautifully reflected the spirit of Seekers Sangat - one that inspires inner stillness, devotion, and joy through sound.
