4:30 at the 5th Avenue Mile… This One Hurt 💔 | Race Day in New York

Race day in New York City 🇺🇸🗽 Come behind the scenes with me as I race the iconic 5th Avenue Mile through the streets of Manhattan! This one hurt. 💔 I ran 4:30, which was definitely not the performance I came to New York for. After a season full of injury setbacks and fighting to get back on the start line, I wanted so much more from this race. But sometimes racing doesn’t go the way you want it to. I’m proud that I managed to get myself back racing this season, and if anything, this has just made me even hungrier for what’s next. That’s officially the end of my 2026 season. Time to reset, rebuild and get to work. Road to 2027 starts now. 🫡 Unfortunately we couldn’t find any of the actual race footage and it was too difficult for my camera man to get but I hope you guys enjoy the build up and aftermath of race day!😜 Thank you for following the journey and supporting me through the highs AND the lows ❤️ If you enjoyed the video, please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and come along for the journey! 📸 Instagram: @ellienatashabaker #5thAvenueMile #Running #RaceDay #NewYork #ProAthlete #TrackAndField
