The Dyatlov Pass incident, explained through the evidence: in February 1959, nine experienced Soviet skiers cut their way out of their own tent on a frozen Ural mountain and walked into the night without their boots. None of them survived. Most retellings of the Dyatlov Pass mystery start with rumors. This Unsolved Archive file follows the footprints instead — from the slashed tent on the slope of Kholat Syakhl, down 1.5 km to a lone Siberian pine where searchers found the remains of a small fire, and on to a stream ravine that kept its secret under four meters of snow until May 4, 1959. We open the search reports, the medical findings and the 1959 inquest that blamed "a compelling natural force," separate the documented record from the legends (the "orange tan," the radiation "off the charts," the glowing spheres, the Yeti), and rank five theories — from a Mansi attack and secret weapons tests to infrasound and the 2020 official avalanche conclusion. Finally, we walk through the 2021 slab-avalanche model by Johan Gaume (EPFL) and Alexander Puzrin (ETH Zurich), what it explains, what it doesn't, and where this file stands today. Igor Dyatlov, Zinaida Kolmogorova, Lyudmila Dubinina, Yuri Doroshenko, Yuri Krivonischenko, Rustem Slobodin, Nikolai Thibeaux-Brignolle, Alexander Kolevatov and Semyon Zolotaryov — nine real people. This video is told with respect for them and for Yuri Yudin, the friend who turned back.
