Standing Wheel: Industrial Soundscape | Post Apocalyptic Dark Ambient for Focus and Relaxation

Ten kilometres of stopped wheel. At dawn its shadow lay toward the sun, and I paced it out. ________________________________ The wheel stands upright in a pit cut into the valley floor, ten kilometres across and taller than the ridges around it. It has not turned since the plant closed. Its rim is built of plates riveted in rings, and the spokes are as thick as the rock buttresses on the valley sides. Cloud catches on the top of it most mornings and drifts through the spokes. The housing below is half full of scree. A brake shoe the size of a house is still clamped to the rim, rusted into place. The record shows that the last revolution took eleven days. Thank you for listening. Music synthesized in SuperCollider.
