The weather changed quite a bit for the worse during the flight, and we eventually had to fly an ILS approach down to minima. For training purposes, Jonas flew the approach manually, without the autopilot. Even though we train extensively for these situations in the simulator, flying a manual ILS in demanding weather is still a high-workload task. Jonas did a fantastic job! As an instructor, these are the moments that really make me proud.
