EP Desk Pasighat, July 5:
The Adi Bane Kebang (ABK) Youth Wing has announced that it will launch an online voluntary donation drive to support families affected by the recent floods in East Siang district.
According to the Youth Wing, the decision was taken after witnessing the hardships faced by flood-affected families. The organisation said the initiative aims to mobilise support from the community and well-wishers to provide relief to those in need.
The Youth Wing also expressed concern over the recent referendum rally in which some participants demanded the resignation of ABK President, Mr. Tanon Tatak. It alleged that public sentiments surrounding the proposed dam and silicon factory issues were being misused to target the ABK leadership.
Appealing for unity, the Youth Wing urged members of the Adi community and the general public not to demand the resignation of Mr. Tanon Tatak. It maintained that the organisation should remain united and focus on addressing issues affecting the community, particularly extending assistance to families impacted by the floods.
The Youth Wing further stated that details of the online donation drive, including the mode of contribution and other guidelines, will be announced in the coming days. It also appealed to the public to come forward and contribute generously to support flood victims during this difficult time. This version is written in a neutral news style, attributes claims to the ABK Youth Wing, and avoids presenting allegations as established facts.
