溫兆倫: Lucky Star (幸運福星) - OST - The Commandments 1992 (武林幸運星) - English Translation

Translating the main theme song (片頭曲) “Lucky Star" (幸運福星) from the Commandments 1992 (武林幸運星) into English. Original Cantonese Song by Deric Wan (溫兆倫). The "Commandments" is a drama/comedy series released by TVB in 1992. A say comedy loosely as I didn't really find much of the series amusing. It was only 20 episodes long but seemed to go on forever, probably because the plot wasn't that interesting. It's the standard, two sworn brothers trying to make their way through the martial arts world. Both are from poor backgrounds whereby they start with nothing. One is good and humble and therefore luck favours him. The other holds a deep grudge and is evil at heart to due to their thirst to exact revenge upon those who have wronged him. I probably would have stopped watching the series early on, but I continued to watch it because Deric Wan (溫兆倫) and Vivian Chow (周慧敏) kept me interested. They acted well and they both had good chemistry. Their characters also had some good depth. The main theme song "Lucky Star" was sung by Deric Wan. As always, he has a good voice. The song has a nice melody. Please enjoy... I am willing to take requests to translate other TVB or wuxia songs in the comments section.
