9/27/2026 Great Vespers of the Sunday of the Memory of the Holy Martyr Callistratus & those with him

Memory of the Holy Martyr Callistratus and those with him: "Martyr Callistratus, once you were illumined mind and heart * by the light of godly belief, * you embarked upon the way * that would lead you to blessedness; * and from that path you did not waver or stray; * you overcame every trap and trickery * of the combatant foe. * Therefore as we celebrate this holy day * of your memory we honor you, O blessed Saint." "Holy Martyr, St. Gymnasius, when they beheaded you, * you submerged in the sea of your * sacred blood the enemy, * who like Pharaoh was drowned therein. * And now a fountain of miracles and cures * pours out to all with faith go to your church, * and all who celebrate * your martyric contests and who keep the feast * of your holy memory, O ever-blessed Saint."
