Silent Hill PS1 part 7 Found me a Boomstick

Having access to a new area, I make my way to the roof, and there I find a key, but it is in a drain and I can't reach it, so I plug up a hole, turn on the water and wash it down and then later retrieve that key once I'm back down in the courtyard. This is a classroom key. Okay, with that I'll be able to get to the stairwell that goes to the basement in this horror world version of the school. I've been finding shotgun ammo for a while now, yet no shotgun, but I know it is here, that I do remember and so I go back to the restrooms, okay, found it, as well as something nasty, but I should be used to that sort of display of macabre by now. I went back to save my game again before going to the basement. Ugh, I forgot about this part, a puzzle with two wheels to rotate some barred entry gate, it took a bit, but I cleared the way to the cage elevator, but I'm not going down there just yet, let's save this one more time, certainly don't want to have to do that again if I die against the boss.
