CZIFFRA plays LISZT Etude 'Appassionata.'

Liszt's Transcendental Etude No.10 in F minor is one of the more popular and frequently played of the Etudes. Cziffra often included it in his recitals, the tempestuous character of the piece well suited to his often flame throwing technique. He recorded the complete set of twelve Etudes in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They are considered to be unique and one of the great recordings of these taxing works.
