AFO Scan Editing: Alignment and Landmarks | Legacy OMEGA Capture Tab

Prepare an ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) scan for the Design tab in this 2016 OMEGA software demonstration. Follow scan orientation, editing tools, three-view alignment, final alignment markers, cleanup and additional landmarks. Watch the instructor correct a misplaced landmark while it remains selected. This lesson covers the Capture tab in legacy software. The instructor demonstrates one scan and a customized landmark template. Scan geometry, landmark selection and alignment decisions require the treating clinician’s assessment and your current device instructions. This is software workflow training, not a universal prescription or clearance to fabricate an orthosis. The next stage is Design. Orthosis modifications and fabrication are outside this lesson.
