Last Day of Summer Break: One Final Splash at Beijing’s Water Cube | EP51

August 30 was the last day of summer break, so we headed to Beijing’s Water Cube for one final day of fun before school began. Many people know the Water Cube as the swimming venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. During the 2022 Winter Olympics, it became the “Ice Cube” and hosted the curling events. Less well known is that this famous Olympic landmark also contains a large indoor water park. Covering around 12,000 square meters, the Water Cube Water Park features 10 major attractions and more than 20 water slides, all set within a fantasy underwater world. In this episode, we step inside for a busy family day at one of Beijing’s most recognizable buildings.
