As an advocate for quality of life improvements, the Las Cruces Green Chamber of Commerce has partnered with member Friends of the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library to bring you informational videos about the impact of the GO bond and how that will improve our precious library. Today, on this third installment of a 4 part series, LCGCC CEO/President Carrie Hamblen talks Lynda St. Clair, President of the Friends of the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library and Sarah Booth, Deputy Director/Quality of Life/Las Cruces Public Libraries Carrie, Lynda and Sarah talk about how the library has grown over the years, the FREE use of rooms for community meetings, and the history of the Library, the various programs for kids, and how the GO bond will improve and expand the spaces for community groups to use at the Library. Las Cruces voters will consider a $26 million General Obligation (GO) bond on the November 2026 ballot to fund the renovation and expansion of the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library. The GO Bond will be your ballots in the November 3rd General Election. If you would like more information on the GO Bond, you can find that at: LasCruces.gov/GOBond.
