Walk to View the Eclipse: East Hills of León (HDR-Remastered)

Took a short trip to León, in Spain, to watch the total solar eclipse last Wednesday, August 12th 2026. I had decided to view it from the elevated east hills overlooking the city, so I went there in the early afternoon to check the place out. I knew I had picked the best spot when I noticed many professional observers already setting up their gear there. When I got back there during the eclipse, I was surprised by the sheer number of people on the hills. The eclipse itself was one of the most mind-blowing things I've ever seen. Totality looks brighter on video, because the camera adjusts the brightness and ISO settings automatically. So the video can't really make it justice. In reality, it really does go as dark as night, or at least early dawn. I decided I shall be going to south Spain next year to watch the next total eclipse, and maybe Australia in 2028 if I can make it as well. As for the short trip, I love León, and I am always very happy to visit the city. The intense summer heat of the Meseta was quite bothersome though. Thankfully this eclipse took place late in the afternoon. There was a previous upload of this video, in SDR. This was indeed the first video I was inspired to try and remaster in HDR.
