Stop Complaining – Wait For The Promise

Acts 1:1–8 serves as the bridge between the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, (Acts of the Apostle) describes the recorded accounts of how the Holy Spirit empowered the Apostles to spread the gospel from Jerusalem to Rome. Jesus clarifies the divine nature of God’s Kingdom, Promises The Holy Spirit, and outlines their mission, verbally for the first 20-30 years, by dictation starting with 1 Thessalonians (Paul), Matthew and Luke some 30 years late, Luke (Paul's companion) recorded testimonies. The Book of Acts contains 44 district references to The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd Person in the Trinity. The Father is God, The Son is God, and The Holy Spirit is God, three Persons in the God Head, but one God! All Three Persons are Equal, Eternal, and Share the same Holy and Divine Attributes. God the Father: The Creator and sustainer of all things. God the Son (Jesus Christ): The "Word" (Logos) who became flesh, Savior who accomplished redemption through His birth, life, death and resurrection. God the Holy Spirit: The Helper, "Advocate, Spirit of Truth", Comforter (Paracletos/Paraclete): One who walks alongside to help. Guides believers into the Truth of Jesus, Breath of God (Wind) At this stage in my life, I’m finding it really, really hard to understand why some or even most people will not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Especially now, having and full understanding that The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The Bible is estimated to contain over 8,810 total promises; 7,706 in the Old Testament, and 1,104 in the New Testament. God’s promises are specific and does not fall outside the lines of His Provision, Protection, Peace, and Salvation. His promises are true, reliable, unchanging, commitments that are given to the believer through and/or by faith; providing strength, hope, and guidance through every situation. Amen!
