Welcome back to our channel! In today’s video, we’re making the beloved Japanese Red Bean Bun, or Anpan. These soft, fluffy buns filled with sweet red bean paste are perfect for snacks or dessert. Join us as we guide you through each step to create these delightful treats! #japaneseredbeanbun #redbeanbun #日式红豆包 #soothing_baking [Ingredients] Bread Sponge Starter(140g Bread flour, 100g Water, 2g Yeast)    • How to Make Bread Sponge Starter | Easy St...   30g Bread flour 30g Cake flour 15g Milk powder 18g Granulated sugar 2g Salt 1g Yeast 25g Water 15g Unsalted butter 250g Red bean paste [Instructions] 1. Prepare bread sponge starter (mix all ingredients, rise at room temperature for 1 hour, transfer to the fridge for 15-18 hours) 2. Mix all ingredients except butter and salt in the stand mixer until smooth and elastic 3. Incorporate the softened butter and salt into the dough and knead until fully combined 4. Let it rise for 30 minutes 5. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 8 equal portions, roll each into a ball 6. Let it rest for 20 minutes 7. Divide the red bean paste into 8 equal portions, roll each into a ball 8. Flatten each piece, place the red bean paste in the center, and fold the dough around the filling, pinch to seal. 9. Place the shaped buns seam-side down on a lined baking sheet, let them rise in warm place for another 40 minutes 10. Brush the tops of the buns with an egg wash (beaten egg) for a shiny finish, sprinkle some sesame 11.
