Food and medicine is growing freely and abundantly all around us in California.
In this foraging walk, I take you through a park in Santa Cruz, California to introduce you to some of the common plants to forage. Many of these are plants that Californians know by site, but have never realized are food and medicine.
I also share key concepts to support you on your foraging journey and encouragement for critical thinking and reconnecting with Earth. This includes the safety and sustainability of foraging.
Filmed June 3rd, 2026 at Lighthouse Field State Beach in Santa Cruz, California on Day 236 of my year of foraging 100% of my food and medicine.
