The 540 BBC Opel is ALIVE.... Until it Wasn't

After what feels like forever, the Big Block Chevy Opel is finally alive and back on the road... well sort of. This 1972 Opel GT is powered by a 540 cubic inch Big Block Chevy, topped with an 8-71 supercharger, and built to be street-driven drag car. We somehow managed to lose a bunch of footage during the build, so this episode is our attempt to catch everyone up and wrap up the end of 2025. There were plenty of wins, but the year ended with a frustrating electrical issue that left the entire left bank of ignition coils without power. Time to put the detective hat on and figure out what went wrong. On the bright side, the car has an incredible new look thanks to Executive Wraps & Detailing.
