A fresh political controversy has emerged between Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam and NCP MP Sunil Tatkare. During the foundation stone ceremony of a dam project at Koyna, Ramdas Kadam was delivering his speech when Ajay Birwatkar, Sunil Tatkare's brother-in-law, arrived on the stage. As Birwatkar approached Kadam's chair, the Shiv Sena leader stopped him and took a sarcastic dig, saying, "Don't try to go straight to the top. Move step by step, slowly." Kadam further asked him to sit down as his speech was still underway. During the address, he also spoke about his 55 years of public service and highlighted development works related to roads and water supply in the region.
