Pork Kimchi Stir-fry / Buta Kimchi Campfire Cooking Episode 14
INGREDIENTS:
250 g Pork Belly (sliced 0.5 - 1 cm slices)
2 tbsp Sake
1/2 Onion
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
Salt and Black Pepper
VEGETABLES:
White Chinese Cabbage
Green Onion
Chives
1 tbsp Kimchi Juice
SEASONING:
1 tbsp Sake
1/2 tbsp Doenjang or Miso
1 tbsp Fine Gochugaru
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sesame Oil
METHODS:
1. Heat the pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp of cooking oil and pan-fry the pork (with the fat side down) on a hot skillet, spreading it evenly.
2. Stir until the pork is no longer pink. Add the onion slices, green onion, and vegetables, stirring until slightly tender, about 2-3 minutes. Then, add the sake and mix well.
3. Add the soy sauce, doenjang/miso, and gochugaru. Stir in thoroughly to dissolve the doenjang/miso first, then follow with the kimchi juice to your liking.
4. Once the seasoning is adjusted to your liking, take the pan off the heat.
5. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil, mix all together, and transfer to a serving plate.
