If you love exploring historical places in Maharashtra and want to see more Shivaji Maharaj forts in Maharashtra, then don’t forget to like, comment, and share this video! 🚩किल्ल्याची माहिती आणि थोडक्यात इतिहास🚩 याला रत्नागिरीचा किल्ला रत्नदुर्ग, रत्नगड किंवा भगवतीचा किल्ला असेही म्हणतात. घोड्याच्या नाल्या सारखा या किल्ल्याचा आकार आहे.. अंदाजे १३०० मीटर लांब आणि १००० मीटर रुंदीचा हा किल्ला आहे. भगवती देवीचे मंदिर ज्या भागात आहे त्या भागाला बालेकिल्ला असे म्हणतात. नाल्याच्या आकाराच्या मध्य भागी दीपगृह उभारलेले आहे. या दीपगृहामुळे १५ किलोमीटर परिसरातील बोटीना मार्गदर्शन होते. किल्ल्यावरील मंदिराचा नुकताच जीर्णोद्धार झाला आहे या किल्ल्याची उभारणी बहमणी काळात झाली. नंतर हा किल्ला आदिलशाहकडे गेला. सन १६७० च्या सुमारास याचे आधिपत्य छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांकडे आले. १७१० - १७५५ या काळात हा किल्ला आंग्रे यांच्या ताब्यात होता. त्यानंतर १८१० पर्यंत तो पेशव्यांच्या ताब्यात होता. सदाशिवराव भाऊंच्या तोतयाला नाना फडणविसांनी याच किल्ल्यात डांबून ठेवले होते. १८५७ च्या उठावापूर्वी झाशीची राणी किल्ल्यावरील देवीच्या दर्शनाला येऊन गेल्याचे सांगण्यात येते. पाहण्याची ठिकाणे - भगवती देवीचे दर्शन घेऊन पुढे गेल्यावर एका ठिकाणी चारही बाजूंनी भिंतींनी संरक्षित केलेली एक जागा आपल्याला दिसते हाच तो ३ तोंडाचा भुयारी मार्ग. आज हा भुयारी मार्ग वापरात नाही. पण दिपगृहाकडून किल्ल्याच्या प्रवेशद्वाराकडे येताना जी तटबंदी लागते त्या तटबंदीवरून या भुयाराचे दुसरे टोक असलेली एक प्रचंड गुहा खाली समुद्र किनाऱ्यावर स्पष्ट दिसते. १९५० मध्ये भगवती मंदिराची दुरुस्ती होऊन १९८९ मध्ये या किल्ल्याची डागडुजी करण्यात आली .. 🚩रत्नेश्वरी देवी आणि रत्नासूर वध – संक्षिप्त कथा🚩 प्राचीन काळी कोल्हासूर आणि रत्नासूर नावाचे दोन भाऊ राक्षस कोल्हापुरात वावरत होते. श्री अंबाबाईने कोल्हासूराचा वध केला, पण त्याचा भाऊ रत्नासूर अधिक बलाढ्य होता आणि त्याचा नायनाट करणे कठीण होते. श्री अंबाबाईने भगवान शंकराची तपश्चर्या करून वर मागितला, की रत्नासूराचा वध तिच्या हातून घडू दे. शंकरांनी सांगितले की तिला ज्योतिबा, भैरव, रवळनाथ यांचे सहाय्य घ्यावे लागेल आणि दोन शक्तिशाली देवींची निर्मिती करावी लागेल. अंबाबाईने पुन्हा तपश्चर्या करून भगवती आणि टेंबलाई देवींची उत्पत्ती केली. नंतर सर्व देवतांनी मिळून ज्योतीबाच्या वाडीत रत्नासूराशी युद्ध केले. अखेर श्री भगवती देवीने उग्र रूप धारण करून रत्नासूरावर सुदर्शन चक्र सोडले व त्याचा वध केला. यामुळे भगवती देवीला रत्नागिरीच्या अधिदेवतेचे स्थान प्राप्त झाले. 🙏
