Long trains and fantastic horns!!! 7/20/25

 You can always count on the Montauk branch during the summer months to provide tremendous action with long trains. Many of these long trains have DM30AC’s with the most dynamic horns. During this day we captured the best of the best. We caught engines #518 with the flamboyant K5LA horn, and all of the K5LLA horn equipped loco’s #504, #509 (twice), and #521. We caught many fine K5LL’s also. We caught Sauerkraut with a fast M9 train and Spaghetti doing his usual hi-lo’s. It was fun day and most pleasing to the ears.
