A 4K walk inside Nagoya Station, Japan — through the concourse, along the JR platforms and up to the Shinkansen platforms, without getting on a single train. Recorded with the real sound of the station and no narration. Short English captions appear on screen now and then. Filmed September 25, 2026 I've been to Nagoya Station more times than I can count, but always to catch a train or to go somewhere. This time I went just to take a closer look at a place I usually pass straight through. The walk starts at the Gold Clock, the classic meeting spot at the Sakura-dori Exit, and crosses to the Silver Clock at the Taiko-dori Exit by the Shinkansen gates. Then onto the JR platforms — a convenience store, a kishimen noodle stand and a ramen shop right on the platform, a freight train rolling through and the Limited Express Hida pulling in from Takayama. Last, through the Shinkansen gates to watch the bullet trains come and go, with views out over both sides of the station. Sunny, around midday.
