What does it really mean to belong to a church? The Bible describes the church as a body — made up of many different members, each one important and each one with a part to play. Looking at 1 Corinthians 12:12–31 and Acts 2:42–47, this special message considers what life together in the church should look like. Belonging is about much more than simply turning up on a Sunday. God calls His people to worship together, learn from His Word, pray for one another, serve one another and share in the life of His church. God has given each of us a place within His church.
