Could you really buy a whole month of groceries in one trip?
In this video, I lay out a full thirty-day grocery plan for a family of four and follow it week by week to see what runs out first, what actually lasts until the end of the month, and how many trips back to the grocery store are really necessary.
We’ll look at what happens to milk, bread, eggs, meat, berries, vegetables, pantry staples and frozen foods — plus how freezing, meal planning and planned top-up trips can help reduce food waste and unnecessary spending.
You’ll also see a worked monthly grocery budget and how it compares with the USDA Thrifty Food Plan.
The goal isn’t deprivation, and it isn’t literally avoiding the grocery store for thirty days. It’s learning which foods you can buy once, which ones need replacing, and how to stop paying for groceries that end up in the trash.
