Visiting Yellowstone 100 Years Ago, a 1925 Travelogue | 16mm Film Scan

1925 Silent film produced by the Department of the Interior in cooperation with the White Motor Company. This is a "one-reel" version made for Kodak's Kodascope Library film rental service. The film follows a bus trip that three young women took through the park. Presumably, this film was spearheaded by Secretary of the Interior Hubert Work as an advertisement for the National Parks. Corrected exposure/contrast, stabilized, de-flickered and did dirt/scratch removal. Being so old, it requried quite a bit of work! Played back at 16 FPS, as that's around the speed of what people would have their projectors ideally set to for home movies. Set to 1.25x speed on Youtube settings if it feels a bit slow.
