Adidas and Puma were born from one family quarrel. This is the true story of Adi and Rudolf Dassler, from a small laundry room in Herzogenaurach to a split that divided an entire town.
In 1924, two brothers formed a shoe company. By 1936, Jesse Owens won four Olympic gold medals in their spikes. Then came war, mistrust, and a final split in 1948. Was it the wives, the war, or one muttered sentence in a bomb shelter?
