Why “Things” Don’t Matter to Me Anymore

In this video, I’m opening up about a powerful shift that’s happened in my life — something quiet, gradual, and deeply meaningful. As I’ve grown older, moved into retirement, and focused more on peace and purpose, I’ve realized that “things” just aren’t important to me anymore. Not the cars. Not the gadgets. Not the clutter. Not the constant chase for more. What matters now is peace, time, health, connection, gratitude, and the moments that money can’t buy. In this extended, reflective presentation, I share how this shift happened, why it changed my life, and how letting go of “things” has brought me more clarity and joy than I ever expected. If you’re feeling the same change in your own life — if you’re starting to care less about possessions and more about meaning — this message is for you. You’re not alone, and this transition is one of the most freeing parts of growing. Thank you for being here, and for spending this time with me. I hope this video brings you peace, perspective, and maybe even a little inspiration.
